Ranting of a lonely heart

Ranting of a lonely heart

I'm sad & I'm lonely,
I need you & you only,
Need to hold you in my arms,
Getting immersed in your charms.

Smelling the beauty of your hair,
Feeling your skin so fair,
Touching your hair so velvety & smooth,
All the rage it can soothe.

All the pain it can soak,
Leaving me so full of hope,
Whispering softly in my ear,
Telling me "I love you dear",

Dream of you is all I do,
Hoping to bring me to you,
Holding you close in my arms,
Getting immersed in your charms.

Prisoner

I’m a prisoner in my own world,
Jailed in my own home.
Where else can I go?
If my house is no longer my home?
What was mine no longer is,
What was there, gone in the mist.
All but the one thing which I treasure the most,
The only thing which I can call truly mine.
My dreams and my mind.
As I sit on my bed I think of the world outside,
So many people, not one to call mine.
Banished by my blood,
Parted from my love.
Who do I have now?
Just me and myself?
No one to see what I see,
No one to feel what I feel.
I live a lonely life,
Surrounded by many,
Understood by none.
Some say they love and care,
But I know it’s someone else they want.
Not who they see, but someone he should be.
Religion and society and pride they say.
What is it? Who is truly to blame?
Blinded by faith, nothing beyond they can see.
Bound by society and all of its rules.
Pride being the only thing they would hate to loose.

The Path

THE PATH

There’s a path leading out the door,

There’s a path going on forevermore.

There’s a path we must follow,

There’s a path which looks so hollow.

There’s a path full of sorrow,

There’s a path with no tomorrow.

There’s a path lonesome and dead,

There’s a path which has no end.

There’s a path in every life,

There’s a path to which we strive.

Blinded by sorrows and grief,

Will we ever get relief?

In this life, on this path,

Our role we play and then we part.

The path goes on, but forevermore,

People on it just come and go.

Insignificant in the specs of time,

Dusted aside like filth and grime.

Lost at sea

Lost at Sea

Sailing along this sea so deep,

My mind wanders to its mystic beat,

The thumping of the engine, the splashing of the waves,

A clamor at most, now a melody.

Cloaked in the darkness of the night,

Drifting along the dark blue sea,

Lost in this solitude, only the sea for company,

The stars above looking on in amusement at this odd symphony.

A man and his machine, set to conquer the seas,

Victory they seek over these Neptunian deeps,

Wind and wave and thunder and storm,

All they face without losing their form.

Seas they pass and oceans they cross,

Heading here and heading there, not a clue of when and where,

Across the horizon not a soul they can see,

Alas they are... Lost at sea...

The first of my poems...

Sweet Dreams…..By Psycho

Sleep on my angel, sleep on,

Sleep till all your cares and worries are gone.

Let the sweet slumber rest your soul,

So you may wake once again and be whole….

Dream on my angel, Dream on,

Dream of the good times gone.

Dream of the good times ahead,

As sweet as wine & mead….

Wake now my angel, tis’ a new day,

A new chance to keep your sorrows at bay.

Another chance to live life anew,

From dusk till day till dew…
